About My Add On

We want to break the stigma around aids. How? By creating fun, functional design products that solve a need in a simple, convenient way.

My Add On was founded by Marie Van den Broeck. Her grandmother inspired her to create the very first product, the mySleeve, to create. In the meantime, we have created many new products together with and for our users.

At the moment, we are not actively looking for new team members, but our door is always open to enthusiastic people who believe in what we do.

Ordering

We regret that, but it can always happen that you are not satisfied. Send us an e-mail via info@myaddon.be and briefly explain why you don't like the product. That way, we also learn! We will look for a solution together.

Go to your shopping basket. Below the overview of products is a box where you can enter your discount code. Press the 'Add discount code' button and you will immediately see how much you save! If the code is no longer valid, you will get an error message.

You can also add the discount code in the checkout screen. Just above the payment options, you will find the box where you can enter the code. Don't forget to press the button to apply the code.

Oh no, that's not good! Our apologies for this. We will gladly rectify this for you. Please send us an e-mail via info@myaddon.be. Then we will make sure the right product comes your way quickly.

No, we do not work with a minimum order amount. Note: the free shipping only applies to orders from 25 euros. Below that, you do pay shipping costs. You will see the shipping costs in the shopping basket or on the checkout page.

Oy! That's not the intention at all! We'll make sure we make up for it.

Send us an email at info@myaddon.be. Please explain what the problem is and be sure to send along a photo and/or video. Then we can find out what exactly went wrong and correct it immediately. It is important to us that you are satisfied with your product, so we are happy to look for a solution together.

We are sorry that your discount code is not working. There could be several reasons for this:

  1. The discount code is not valid (anymore)
    The code was temporary, or you have used the code before. You can only use each code once (see 'What are the conditions of discount codes?').
  2. The discount code is not valid on the items in your shopping cart
    Some promotional codes are only valid on selected products.
  3. The discount code contains an error
    Make sure you copy the discount code exactly. If you enter the code incorrectly, the discount code will not work. Make sure you have entered the code correctly.
  4. Is the code still not working?
    Check if it is a temporary promotion, and if the promotion is still running. It may be that the discount code has expired.
    Some codes have a minimum order value you must meet. It may be that the value of your shopping ticket is too low and the code will not be applied.
    You cannot apply discount codes to orders that have already been completed.
    Some codes only work for specific products or categories. Double-check that you have added the right product.

We are happy to explain the rules of the game and which codes you can use in which way.

General terms and conditions
With every order you place with us, you can use one discount or promotion code. That means you can use several codes cannot combine.

All My Add On discount codes are valid indefinitely unless otherwise stated. You can use any code once use. If the discount code is a minimum order value has, we will clearly state that.

Unfortunately, if you return a discounted item, we cannot reapply the discount you initially received to a new order. This applies to one-off discount codes such as the Welcome discount, the temporary promotion codes, and other (personal) discount codes. It is not possible to apply a discount code after your order has already been placed. So make sure you enter the code before you checkout.

Welcome discount
Our welcome discount gives you a nice benefit on your first order in our webshop. To get the welcome discount, you need to register for our mailing list via the pop-up notification.

Promotional discount
You will regularly find our promotional discount codes on our social media, on the website or in our newsletter. The conditions for those codes vary for each promotion and are only valid on orders placed within the promotion period (the end date is mentioned in each case). The codes are not applicable to orders placed before or after the promotional period.

You can pay in several ways: Bancontact, Ideal, Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, bank transfer, KBC/CBC payment button and Belfius Pay Button.

Your payment will be processed in a secure manner.

You can! Just keep in mind that your order will not be shipped until after we have received your payment. This may take several working days. If you want your order faster, please choose another payment option.

myBedMaker

No, the myBedmaker is available in 1 colour combination (black & white)

The myBedMaker can simply remain under the mattress when not in use. Thanks to the retract-and-extend system, the myBedMaker becomes invisible* when fully folded!

*With mattress thickness from 18cm 

For optimal use, a mattress thickness of up to 23 cm is ideal, but the MyBedMaker can reach up to a maximum of 35 cm.

myBlanket Summer

No, the myBlanket is specifically a rain blanket for the legs and thus only protects the lower part of your body. Think of it as a mackintosh for your legs.

So to protect your upper body, it is best to still wear your own jacket.

✅ Yes. The summer version has a light cotton-polyester lining (quality shirt fabric), but our winter version has a warm fleece lining.

✅ Available in 3 different sizes: S-M, L-XL and Kids (6-12 years old).

✅ Yes! Attach the bag to your manual or electric wheelchair or your mobility scooter using the strap:

1️⃣ Open the buckle
2️⃣ Place the bag under the seat or at the back of the wheelchair
3️⃣ Adjust the length of the belt and close the buckle.

✅ Yes, myBlanket is machine washable at 30°C.

✅ No special treatment required. myBlanket remains 100% waterproof even after washing.

✅ Dries very quickly

✅ Yes! The tote bag is designed slightly more spacious, so you can store your phone 📱, keys 🔑, wallet 👛 and more while on the go.

✅ Yes, the lower part closes around your legs (front and back)

✅ Ensures a close-fitting fit with the help of the adjustable elastic cords

myGelbow

No way! 🤩 You can clean and reuse the myGelbow again.

Here are some tips to ensure optimal adhesion:

  • Remove the gel patch from the stool and degrease the support (the place where you hang the gel patch) completely with a degreasing agent. Make sure the support complete dry is before reattaching the gel patch 🙌
  • Are there any dust or dirt on the gel patch? Then you can easily clean it under running water. Use your fingers to rub any dirt off the gel patch, then let the gel patch air drying until he complete dry is. Then it sticks like new again and you can attach it to the stool. 👌

myRollerSleeve

The myRollerSleeve is flexible and fits any type of rollator handle, including anatomical and wide handles. We have tested it on more than 20 different handle types. So the myRollerSleeve will definitely fit your handle.

 

✅ Yes! You can easily clean the myRollerSleeve with water 💦 and soap 🧴.

✅ You can also clean the myRollerSleeve in the washing machine or dishwasher (at 30°C). BUT do not forget to FIRST remove the magnet 🧲❗️

✅ Yes! Just roll the myRollerSleeve off the handle.

✅ The gel patch is self-adhesive and does not use glue. It therefore does not leave a sticky residue either 👍

👍 No! You just apply the myRollerSleeve over the existing handle, it's a flexible handle cover! 😁👌

mySleeve

✅ Yes! Hand pain and blisters don't stand a chance with mySleeve.

Surveys show:

  • Stool with mySleeve = comfort score 8.5/10.
  • stool without mySleeve = comfort score 2.5/10

Here's what Govert has to say about it:

"I had really tried everything from sports tape, to kinetic tape on my hands, to crossfit gloves. Nothing helped against blisters, but the mySleeves did!"

Yes! You can roll the mySleeve off the handle and remove the self-adhesive gel patch without any glue residue. 😁

The easiest way is to just our assembly video to follow 😉

Gently pull/massage the mySleeve backwards, repeat the operation
several times until it is in place and tightens everywhere

Or start again. For smooth assembly, first roll the mySleeve back up into a roll

First check that you have applied the gel patch under the mySleeve. This is because the gel patch holds the mySleeve in place.

Is the gel patch no longer sticking? Rinse it under water and let it air dry (or with a hairdryer). Dab it not off! When the gel patch is completely dry, it sticks back like new!

Remove the mySleeve from your stool and roll it up again. Glue a piece of paper or cardboard above the hole in your stool. Reinstall the mySleeve.

Don't panic! You can put the magnet back in. Roll up the mySleeve into a roll again. Take the magnet and insert it into the magnet chamber (round hole in the mySleeve).

Don't stress, you can solve that easily!

Remove 1 of the 2 mySleeves from your stool again. Roll it up into a roll. Take the magnet out of the magnet chamber (round hole in the mySleeve). Turn the magnet over and put it back into the magnet chamber. Then you can reassemble the mySleeve and the magnets will attract each other.

Unfortunately not, the handles of children's crutches are narrower than those of adult crutches. As a result, the mySleeve is not suitable on to use this type of crutches.

In many cases, the mySleeve will fit over the handle, but due to the increased stress on the material, the mySleeve may show premature wear or be damaged faster if the crutches fall over.

As a result, we do not recommend using the mySleeve on anatomical handles.

Yes, the mySleeve is available in four colours: Subtle Black (black), Trendy Turquoise (turquoise), Cheerful Yellow (yellow) and Powerful Orange (orange).

Shipping

Shipping costs depend on the country in which you live. You can easily have shipping costs calculated in the basket. Put a product in your basket, go to the checkout page and enter your address. Shipping costs will be calculated for you automatically.

Do you live in Belgium and order for at least 25 euros? Then we will ship your order for free.

Oy! No stress. Send us the correct address as soon as possible via info@myaddon.be, we will still try to intercept your package 😉

As soon as your payment is received, we get to work. When paying by card or mobile app, this is immediately. When paying by bank transfer, we only start shipping after we have received your payment.

We do our best to send your parcel within 2 working days. Final delivery depends on the shipping partner (bpost or PostNL).

Should the preparation and shipment of your parcel be delayed for some reason, we will notify you via e-mail.
