My Add On has had a very nice partnership with Good home care shop. Our products are available in their more than 60 branches and through their webshop. To get to know each other even better, we had an interview with Ann-Sophie, in charge of six Good homecare shops.
WHAT IS GOOD?
In July 2019, the former Home Care Shops merged into the Care Network Good. With 90 Good pharmacies, 70 Good hearing centres and 60 Good home care shops, Good offers spread throughout Flanders a full range of care and health solutions. Everything under one roof. 1,300 employees always assist customers with professional advice for the best tailor-made service.
Ann-Sophie has been working for Home Care Shop/Good for eight years. She started as a shop assistant and is now responsible for six Goed home care shops and a Goed pharmacy. Her task: providing the shop employees with optimal support so that customers are helped in the best possible way. With advice and with suitable aids.
THE COLLABORATION WITH MY ADD ON
Ann-Sophie: "We have been offering My Add On products in our shops for several years, including the MySleeve. The benefits of these immediately stood out: better comfort, no more pain when stepping with crutches and the magnets that preventing the crutches from falling when you place them against something. Anyone who has to step with crutches immediately sees a positive impact. Just the added value we want to bring to our care-seeking customers. We like to bring such inventive and comfort-enhancing solutions to the attention of our customer for whom all help is often very welcome."
HOW WELL THE CORONA CRISIS WAS HANDLED
Good was also forced to have to temporarily close their home care shops and hearing centres during the first lockdown due to the corona measures. During the second lockdown, however, the branches were allowed to remain open. Due to the temporary closure and due to a shift in shopping behaviour of consumers, they saw a drop of 20 to 30% of visitors in branches this year. Fortunately, this could be compensated online. Several thousand aids can be easily ordered through the webshop or rented through the lending service.
Ann-Sophie: "Due to the corona crisis, we have expanded our service in a number of areas. Our customers can now also get a video appointment books with a product specialist or an audiologist. The various delivery and collection options are extensive. Those who want can also pick up their order in a drive-in at some of our branches. A additional offer after the classic home delivery and click & collect collection option that we have as standard."
