Sun, Sea... Carefree offers accessible beach environments and trained assistants in Nieuwpoort, Middelkerke, Ostend, Bredene, Vosseslag, Wenduine, De Haan and Zeebrugge.
When?
At July and August, every day between 10h30 and 18h30.
Assistance:
Need assistance for a move, changing clothes, taking a seat in the beach wheelchair ...? A Sun, Sea... Carefree assistant will help you. An assistant can also help you take a seat on the toilet. However, the Sun, Sea... Carefree assistants are not nurses. Do you need intimate hygiene care? Then please provide an assistant yourself.
What facilities will you find there?
- an accessible toilet
- an adapted care room with hoist, high-low bed and shower
- beach mats
- beach wheelchairs (you can also rent or buy through Becasine)
The environment is accessible:
- Nearby you will find parking places for people with disabilities (see also OnWheels app)
